On Wednesday 19th March 2025, the Catenians held the Sussex Regional Heat of the Catenian Association's Public Speaking Competition. The competition is open to Catholic 'year 11 students' from our schools throughout East & West Sussex. This year the competition was hosted by Cardinal Newman School. The worthy winner came from St Gregory's Catholic School in Tunbridge Wells, outside the Sussex borders but an accommodation was made because of a local problem. It was a great night and of course the big event, i.e. the national final, will happen in September 2025 in Manchester. We shall keep you updated.
